Halloween Activity Basket Inspiration.
It’s that spooky time of year and Halloween is just around the corner! This holiday particularly has a special place in my heart. It was right around Halloween when my son was born and I remember spending Halloween in the hospital with my sweet baby boy in a knitted candy corn hospital hat. Every year when this season comes around, I always think back to that special time. So since then, I always try to put together a little something special to celebrate for the kids! This Halloween I am putting together an activity basket for the kids to enjoy throughout the month and to get them excited for the holiday! You may have heard of Boo Baskets, but this year I’m preparing a basket with a twist. Instead of purchasing a whole bunch of trinkets and knick knacks which we already have overflowing abundantly in our home, I decided to get a bunch of fun activities that the kids can do together or that we can do as a family.
These baskets don’t have to be costly, and you can certainly use items that you already own. You can place in games, activity books, stickers, crayons, or maybe even fill them with coupons for family activities like going to the pumpkin patch! Be creative and keep your child’s interest in mind when filling your basket.
Our kids love games, activity books, stickers, and crafts so we stocked up on a few that were on sale and included them in our basket.
Here are the contents that we put inside!
• Some printable Halloween activity packs from my shop. You can find them here.
• Spiderweb made of foam that we will be using for counting activities
• Super cute puzzle that I found on sale
• Some Halloween stickers
• A few small activity kits that were on sale. These are for necklace making, melting beads, sun catchers, and a small painting booklet.
• Printable memory game from my shop. Linked here.
I know that the kids will absolutely be thrilled over this. It was so easy to put together, didn’t cost very much, and will be keeping the kids busy during this holiday month. I hope this gave you some ideas for things that you can put into your Halloween activity basket.
Happy Halloween!
xoxo
