We usually try to refrain from giving too much sweets in our children’s Easter baskets. But then of course, Easter wouldn’t be Easter without the chocolate bunny, so we put just a few sweet gifts in there and give it in moderation. The majority of our basket gets filled with small activities, games, or puzzles — all which are things that they can enjoy over and over again.
This year we are hoping to spend more time outside when it is warmer so we got the kids a set of magnifiers for them to explore outdoors. Hopefully it will make our walks full of discovery and more interesting! They both love doing puzzles so we got them each these adorable cube puzzles from Melissa and Doug and also a small craft kit that they can do and also play with afterwards as well. The sunglasses and wooden cars are from the Target dollar spot, and to avoid any fights, tears, or outrages, our Easter baskets are pretty much identical. See below for our boy version!
