When my daughter was in preschool and the classmate count was lower, I was able to put in more effort and time into classmate gifts. But now that she is in Kindergarten with a much larger class, I knew that the Valentine gifts this year would have to be easier to put together and also at a more affordable cost.
So, for my daughter’s Kindergarten class, since she LOVES arts and craft, we thought it would be fun to gift her classmates something that they can create art with! I always try to create gifts or favors that can be used as an activity or can be used for a longer span of time. We discovered these fun stencils at Walmart for an incredibly affordable price that was perfect! They come in a set of 10 (we got 3 sets!) and the size is great to fit into a treat bag. Both my kids use stencils pretty frequently so this is a great little item to give to her classmates. We decided to pair them with some fun pencils that we were able to find at Michaels. It’s a pack of 48 so it’s definitely enough for her entire class and for us to use as well over time.
The next step was to think about how we were going to package the items, which is always my favorite part of gifting. We got some clear plastic treat bags and some curling ribbon. I was kind of going with a fun party theme/look and thought it was perfect for that. We made some DIY confetti by cutting up colored paper into small bits and using a heart puncher to add the festive effect to the gifts.
We finished them off with a fun gift tag from my shop and absolutely love how they turned out! A fun little creating kit! If you would like to make these valentines yourself, below are the links!
