Here is a simple and easy idea for a classmate gift for Christmas! I’ve always loved giving play dough as gifts. I love the idea of gifting an activity that the child can reuse and benefit from, and when possible I try to include everything that is needed in the gift so that there is no prep for the child’s parent, and hopefully they can have some free moments from using the activity. In the past I use to make my own play dough and create mini kits for the class, but this year with things being extra busy, I took an easier route. I got a pack of store bought play dough and some super affordable Christmas themed cookie cutters to include as well. I knew I wanted to include some Christmas Play Dough Mats from my shop so I purchased a pack of dry erase pockets to slip them into. This eliminates the need for me to laminate the printable mats and I love that they can be used for other things such as writing practice and tracing. I put the play dough and cookie cutters in some treat bags, tied it with a ribbon and some tinsel, added a cute tag and voila! It was very easy to put together and looks so fun! If you’re looking for an idea for a classmate gift, give this a try!
